Uzbekistan faces South Korea in today’s match

Today, January 13, the Uzbekistan Olympic team will take the field in the third round of the Asian Cup. Coach Ravshan Haydarov’s squad will face representatives of South Korea. The match is set to begin at 16:30 Tashkent time at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
The teams last met in this age category during the 2023 Asian Games semifinals. In that match held in China, the Uzbekistan Olympic team narrowly lost 1-2 to South Korea, finishing the tournament with a bronze medal.
So far in the current tournament hosted by Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan won their opening match 3-2 against Lebanon, with goals from Amirbek Saidov, Ravshan Khairullaev, and Sardor Bahromov.
In the second round, Haydarov’s team played Iran to a 0-0 draw. Currently, Uzbekistan sits in 2nd place in Group C with 4 points.
