Today, November 1, the 23rd round of the Uzbekistan football championship features a crucial match as "Nasaf" of Karshi takes on "Lokomotiv" away at the "Dostlik" stadium in the Upper Chirchik district.

A victory for "Nasaf" would secure their first-ever championship title in the club's history, marking a significant milestone.

Currently, "Nasaf," under the guidance of coach Rozikul Berdiyev, leads the standings with 49 points, holding a commanding 10-point advantage over their closest rival, Olmalik's OKMK team. This commanding lead means that if "Nasaf" secures a win today, they will clinch the championship even with three rounds still remaining in the tournament.

Historically, Tashkent clubs have dominated the championship since 2002, making "Nasaf's" potential triumph particularly noteworthy as it could end a 22-year period of dominance by the capital's teams.

The match is set to kick off at 16:00, and anticipation is high as fans await the outcome that could bring "Nasaf" their first championship title.
