Botir Qudratkhujaev appointed Head of the Operational Search Department

By a relevant decree and resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Botir Bahromovich Qudratkhujaev has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Head of the Operational Search Department. In this connection, he has been relieved of his position as Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Press Secretary of the President of Uzbekistan.

For reference, Botir Qudratkhujaev served as Acting Prosecutor and later Prosecutor of Surkhandarya Region from 2014 to 2016, Prosecutor of Tashkent City from 2016 to 2017, Director of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 2017 to 2020, Prosecutor of Khorezm Region from 2020 to 2022, and from 2022 until the present served as Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was appointed Minister of Emergency Situations in February 2025.

It is worth noting that earlier reports stated that Azizbek Ikromov had been appointed Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
