Bekzod Abduqayumovich Shukurov was appointed as the press secretary of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. This was reported by the Information Agency of Uzbekistan.
Before the appointment, he worked as the head of the Department of Public Communications and Information Openness of the Secretariat of Tourism, Culture and Mass Communications of the Cabinet of Ministers.
For information, the former press secretary of the Prime Minister, Bakhtiyor Hasanov, was released from his post due to his retirement in February of this year.
