President of Bulgaria to pay official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from June 9 to 11. The visit was announced by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

The program includes high-level talks between the two heads of state, as well as official and business events. A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed during the visit.

The two leaders will discuss the further development of mutually beneficial relations, with a focus on increasing trade turnover and fostering cooperation in priority sectors such as the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceuticals, mining, digital technologies, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian exchange.

President Radev is also scheduled to participate in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

It is worth noting that, prior to this, at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is set to visit Uzbekistan from June 8 to 10.
