The children’s Ombudsman confirmed that there was another case of violence in Khorezm

It was reported that a minor girl was raped by 11 people in Khorezm. A Spokesperson for the Children’s Ombudsman, Fatima Madrahimova, provided information that the representative of children’s rights received an appeal regarding this situation and it had been taken under control.
“Yesterday, the Children’s Ombudsman investigated this appeal and received relevant information. According to the results of the study, an appeal was sent to the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Additional information will be provided to the public on the outcome of the situation,” said the spokesperson of the Children’s Ombudsman.
He also noted that the Children’s Ombudsman is firm in its position that severe punishments should be applied to sexual crimes against children.
