Introduction of a management certification system for kindergarten directors

Starting on January 1, 2025, a system will be implemented to accept candidates for the director of state preschool educational organizations into management courses and issue certificates to them through a special portal. This follows the adoption of a Cabinet of Ministers decision titled "On the Introduction of the System of Training and Appointment of Candidates for the Position of Director of State Preschool Education Organizations in Management Courses and Issuing Them a Certificate."

According to this decision, directors who obtain a management certificate will receive an additional monthly bonus equal to 30 percent of their monthly salary for the duration of the certificate's validity.

Furthermore, the reserve pool of candidates for the position of kindergarten director will be formed from those who have received a management certificate through the regional and capital departments of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training of Heads and Specialists of Preschool Education Institutions will organize the advanced training courses. Candidates for certification will register electronically through a special portal and apply for admission. They must hold at least a bachelor's degree and meet the qualification requirements for organization directors.

The final exams will consist of 25 questions, case studies, and practical assignments. A total of 100 points can be earned: 50 points for the test, 10 points for case studies, and 40 points for practical assignments.

Candidates who score 70 points or above will be considered to have successfully passed the final exam and will be awarded a certificate.

It is also important to note that it was previously reported that candidates for the position of school director in Uzbekistan can only be selected from personnel who hold a management certificate and are included in the reserve.
