Acceptance of applications for dormitories from students of the first stage has begun

Acceptance of applications for accommodation in the dormitory from the first-level students who entered the higher education institution has begun.  This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

It is said that the work of uploading the information about the recommended students to the “Student Residence Information System” has come to an end.  Therefore, applications from students have been accepted.

Now the students of the first stage can send an electronic application for placement in the dormitories of state higher education institutions through the State Services Center or the Unified Interactive State Services Portal.

For information, this year, the number of applicants who applied for undergraduate courses of higher education institutions was 1 million 18 thousand 7 people.  Of these, 948,486 applicants were found eligible for the test, but 59,866 of them did not appear for the exam.  Also, a total of 148 applicants were excluded from the 13-day exams.

According to the published data, this year, almost half of all applicants (49.4 percent) did not even score 56.7 points, which is the minimum pass mark.  70.5% of the applicants who scored less than 56.7 points graduated in previous years, and the remaining 29.5% are graduates of the current year.

It should be noted that the results of the entrance tests for the undergraduate courses of higher education institutions for the 2023-2024 academic year were announced on August 22.
