Five Uzbek boxers won the international tournament

Yesterday, on 20 February, the traditional 74th international tournament “Stranja”, which has great prestige in the world of boxing, started in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

In the first day’s matches, 7 boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring.

4 Uzbek boxers won their fights. Dilshod Abdumurodov, Iqboljon Khaldorov, Saidjamshid Jafarov and Saidakhan Rahmonova moved to the next stage of the tournament.

– Bekzod Hamidov’s opponent in 67 kilograms, Pavel Fedorov from Serbia, did not enter the ring due to health problems.

Asilbek Jalilov in the men’s -51 kg category, and Mukhlisa Khushvaktova in the women’s -54 kg weight category lost to her opponent and ended her participation in the competition.
