Gasoline volume will be doubled

Earlier, it was reported that a short-term restriction on the activities of gas filling stations (methane gas stations) is planned. In response to the restriction on gas stations' activities in Uzbekistan, the volume of gasoline released to the exchange will be temporarily doubled. This was announced by the Ministry of Energy.

The ministry stated that necessary reserves have been established in all regions. Ensuring the full satisfaction of consumer demand for gasoline has been placed under state control. All necessary measures have been implemented to ensure the uninterrupted supply of gasoline to the population during the current autumn-winter season.

"In this regard, we ask the owners of private gas stations not to artificially increase prices and to sell gasoline correctly in terms of both quality and quantity," the report emphasized.

The report also mentioned that working groups are continuing their on-site control measures, and unreasonable price increases will not be tolerated.
