Bakhtiyor Saidov was received by Ebrahim Raisi

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received President Ibrahim Raisi as part of his visit to Iran.  He announced this on his Telegram channel.

“It is a great honor for us to be received by His Excellency, the President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi.  At the meeting, we conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” Saidov wrote.

He also expressed his confidence to take all necessary measures to fully realize the potential of cooperation together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Abdullahiyan.

In addition, together with Saidov, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Mahkamov held talks with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Khusrav Noziri.  During the dialogue, issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Economic Cooperation Organization, regional trade and interdependence, as well as various aspects of preparation for future events planned within the framework of the organization were discussed.
