On April 25, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and China’s Foreign Minister, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Saidov shared details of the meeting on his Telegram channel.

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China.

"The conversation covered a wide range of topics, including trade, transport, and logistics cooperation, regional security, and international collaboration," said Saidov.

Saidov expressed gratitude to China for its consistent support of Uzbekistan’s development and its shared commitment to building a stable, prosperous, and interconnected region.

"The mutual agreement to maintain the high dynamics of bilateral relations," he added.

It is worth noting that earlier this month, on April 1, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Liu Jianchao, Head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. That meeting focused on expanding multifaceted cooperation and practical partnership between Uzbekistan and China, in line with agreements reached at the highest level.
