On May 19, Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Great Britain Foreign Minister Devid Lemmi. Saidov announced this on his Telegram channel.

He wrote, “Today in London, I am pleased to meet with Britain’s Foreign Minister Devid Lemmi. We discussed an extensive and promising agenda for 2025 that reflects the strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Great Britain.”

According to his statement, discussions were held on new opportunities for cooperation spanning areas from trade and investment to cultural exchanges and addressing global challenges. Mutual aspirations for prosperity and stability were reiterated.

After the meeting, a Cooperation Program for 2025–2026 was signed between the ministries.

Saidov added, “We are grateful for the warm hospitality and effective dialogue.”

It is also worth noting that Britain’s former Foreign Minister Devid Kemeron visited Uzbekistan last year during his tour of Central Asia and Mongolia, where he also met with Bakhtiyor Saidov.
