The delegation headed by Bakhtiyor Saidov visits to the USA

The delegation, headed by Bakhtiyor Saidov, visited the USA from September 3 to 7. This visit was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the visit, Saidov held separate meetings with various notable figures, including Nicholas Berliner, Special Assistant to the US President, Eric Adams, Mayor of New York, Gary Peters, Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs of the US Senate, Antonella Bassani, the Vice-President of the World Bank, and several heads of leading US companies.

The negotiations during these meetings covered a wide range of topics aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas, with special emphasis on enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation. Additionally, the delegation launched the TechBridge project of the Uzbek-American IT association during the visit, with the goal of fostering collaboration in the field of information and communication.

As part of their visit, the Uzbekistan delegation also participated in a ceremonial event commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the state's independence at the US Congress library building.
