List of related courses for the bachelor's degree was approved

In Uzbekistan, the classification of higher education areas and specialties has been finalized, resulting in the approval of a list of related educational areas. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.

According to the ministry, the educational directions have been categorized into 32 similar groups.

For reference, the following educational directions are related to the group of appropriate educational directions (specializations) in the field (branch, direction, type of activity):

• Vocational education (undergraduate courses);
• Professional education (undergraduate courses);
• Service equipment and technology (in service networks);
• Service sector (by types and areas of activity).

Additionally, the Ministry stated that the areas (specializations) of individuals applying for relocation or rehabilitation will be considered in accordance with the current classification.

It should be noted that the selection of higher education institutions and educational areas has already commenced in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the tuition fees for higher education institutions for the academic year 2024/2025 have been approved.
