The World Boxing Championship among adults continues in Tashkent. The semi-final matches of the are taking place today, the 12th of May.
Uzbekistan representative, Bahadir Jalolov, who fought during the championship in the super heavy weight category, won the ticket to proceed to the final before the deadline, after his opponent in the semi-finals, Ayub Gadafa Drissi from Spain, was unable to participate in the semi-final due to injury.
It is worth noting that in addition to Jalolov, 8 more Uzbek boxers will enter the ring to fight for a place in the finals. Starting today's participation for the Uzbekistan team is Oybek Jorayev in -54 kg category. He will compete against Dmitry Dvali from Russia.
