Bahodir Jalolov reaches BRICS Games finals

On June 21, the semi-final boxing matches of the BRICS Games took place in Kazan, Russia. Twelve Uzbek boxers advanced to the final stage of the tournament.
Shodiyorjon Meliqoziyev, Shahzod Muzaffarov, Hudoynazar Fayzov, Dilshod Abdumurodov, Shavkatjon Boltayev, Havasbek Asadullayev, Javohir Ummataliyev, Torabek Habibullayev, Madiyor Sayidrahimov, and Bahodir Jalolov secured spots in the finals in their respective weight categories.
Among the women, Nigina Oktamova and Aziza Zokirova will compete for the gold medal.
From the men's team, Asilbek Jalilov, Adhamjon Muhiddinov, and Shahjakhan Abdullayev, and from the women's team, Feruza Kazakova, Sitora Turdibekova, Dilfuza Bekova, Mavluda Movlonova, and Oltinoy Sotimboyeva earned bronze medals.
