Premier League clubs are competing for the services of Uzbekistan's Abdukadir Husanov. English teams Tottenham and Newcastle are reportedly weighing up a move for the 20-year-old defender, currently playing for Lens, according to 'The Telegraph'.

The source indicates that seven English clubs, in addition to French side PSG, are interested in signing Husanov.

Lens could potentially earn over £25 million in the current transfer window, with Husanov’s value rising as he continues to impress for Will Still's team.

For reference, Husanov has made 12 appearances for Lens this season, and his current transfer fee stands at €5 million.

It’s also worth noting that Husanov has been nominated for Uzbekistan’s Player of the Year award.
