Students in Angren commit theft to fund graduation event

In Angren city, Tashkent region, four schoolchildren committed theft to cover expenses for their graduation ceremony, the regional Main Department of Internal Affairs reported.

On the night of April 17, an unknown person in the "Nurchi" neighborhood of Angren reported to the regional Department of Internal Affairs that money had been stolen from a Damas car. The case was promptly investigated, and a criminal case was opened.

As a result of urgent investigative measures, authorities identified and detained four schoolchildren aged 15 to 17 in connection with the crime. During the initial investigation, the suspects admitted that they used the stolen money to pay for their school graduation night expenses.

It is worth noting that earlier in Samarkand, a 17-year-old girl was accused of stealing 15 pieces of gold jewelry worth 120 million sums from her mother’s house.
