Tremors felt in Andijan and Fergana

On April 24 at 17:22, an earthquake occurred in the Andijan and Fergana regions of Uzbekistan, as reported by the Republican Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 267 km southeast of Tashkent, in Marhamat district, Andijan region, with a magnitude of 3.0.

Seismic Intensity in Uzbekistan:

  • Marhamat district: 3.0 magnitude (5 km);
  • Asaka district: 2.0 magnitude (13 km);
  • Bulokboshi district: 2.0 magnitude (20 km);
  • Shakhrihon district: 2.0 magnitude (22 km);
