According to social networks, former prosecutor S.A was caught bribing a judge with $100,000 in the criminal case of Andijan city prosecutor Q.A.  The Supreme Council of Judges reacted to these reports and rejected it.

It was found out that S. A., mentioned in the report, was arrested almost a month ago in a different area and for a completely different case for the crime of fraud and at the same time investigative efforts are being conducted.

"This situation has nothing to do with the defendants and the judge (presiding over the case) in the criminal case against the former officials of Andijan and others, which is being considered in the Fergana regional court these days." the board said in a statement.

Earlier, we reported that the trial started in the Fergana regional court against the former governor of Andijan city, the prosecutor and the persons who held the responsible positions of various ministerial offices at the regional and city levels.
