Today, September 30, a man was electrocuted while installing an advertising banner in the Andijan region. This was reported by the press service of the Andijan regional branch of JSC "Regional Electric Networks."

According to reports, the incident occurred when the individual came into contact with the 10 kV overhead line of the "Shodlik" power transmission network, which runs from the "Janubiy" substation through the "Taraqqiyot" neighborhood of the Shahrikhan district.

"The citizen was subsequently rescued by the operational team of the Andijan Region Emergency Management Department and transported to the Central Hospital," the report stated.

It was noted that the condition of the individual is stable, and he is currently under medical supervision.

As a reminder, on September 17, in the Uchkuprik district of the Fergana region, schoolchildren who attempted to take a selfie on top of train cars were also electrocuted. The children sustained varying degrees of injuries and were taken to the hospital by ambulance. One of the patients was admitted to the intensive care unit with 63 percent burns, while another was treated for thermal burns and a fracture of the right femur.
