On August 14, a fire broke out in an apartment and an adjacent clothing store in the Andijan region. This was reported by the Regional Emergency Management Department.
According to the report, at 15:54, the Fire and Rescue Service of the Andijan region received notification of a blaze at the residence of citizen M.I. on Furkat Street in Andijan City, and the neighboring clothing store. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 16:02 and had the fire completely extinguished by 16:20.
The fire caused damage to the ceiling and roof of both the residential house and the clothing store, affecting an area of approximately 70 m². No injuries were reported. The causes of the fire and the extent of material damage are still being investigated.
