Domestic dispute ends in murder on Andijan road

A man fatally stabbed his wife in the middle of the street following a domestic dispute in the city of Andijan, located in the Andijan region. The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to officials, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder), and efforts are currently underway to locate and detain him.
A video circulating on social media shows the woman’s body lying in the street, covered in blood.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred in the 3rd microdistrict of Andijan city.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred recently in the Surkhandarya region, where a 71-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in her own home.
