Andijan store hit by fire, authorities investigating cause

Yesterday, January 5, a fire broke out in a store in the Shakhrikhan district of the Andijan region. This was reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.

It is noted that at 22:57, the Federal Fire Department received a report about a fire in a household goods store located on Amir Temur Street of the Shakhrikhan neighborhood. At 23:00, fire and rescue crews arrived at the specified location, and by 23:45, the fire was completely extinguished.

As a result of the fire, the ceiling, roof, and household appliances on an area of 300 square meters of the store were damaged. No citizens were injured. The causes of the fire and the amount of material damage are being determined.

It should be recalled that earlier, a fire broke out in a food preparation facility in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent. There were no injuries or deaths as a result of the incident.
