The DIA Comments on the Presence of Kidnappers in Andijan

The Regional Department of Internal Affairs has commented on the reports of kidnappers present in Andijan.
According to the report, the presence of kidnappers in the Baliqchi district of the Andijan region are untrue and have no basis. The message also requested that social network activists refrain from spreading unconfirmed information.
It should be noted that kidnapping is punishable by five to ten years in prison based on Article 137 of the Criminal Code. Also, if the abduction is committed by a very dangerous recidivist and is carried out to obtain human organs and tissues, a prison sentence of ten to fifteen years will be applied.
