Reports have surfaced on social media about a train accident involving a citizen in Andijan city. The regional Health Department has commented on the incident.
According to the report, today, March 13, at 10:22 AM, an ambulance arrived at the scene to find a 26-year-old man, kh.M., who is deaf and mute, in a critical and dazed condition. By 10:34 AM, he was transported to the Regional Emergency Medical Center. Doctors managed to save the severely injured patient’s life, and the surgery was successful.
The man sustained severe head trauma, a concussion, a hematoma, a torn eyebrow injury, a dislocated and fractured right ankle, and post-traumatic shock. He has been deaf and mute since childhood.
It was reported that the patient’s condition is currently stable but moderate. He remains under medical supervision, and his health is showing positive signs of improvement.
As a reminder, earlier in Fergana region, a Nexia-3 car was struck by a train between Oxunboboyev and Margilan stations. The driver had violated traffic rules by attempting to bypass the train using a “zigzag” maneuver.
