Those who attempted to illegally sell land in Andijan and Kashkadarya were apprehended

The illegal sale of land in Andijan and Kashkadarya regions was halted, as reported by the State Security Service.

The head of a limited liability company specializing in animal husbandry in the Baliqchi district of Andijan region leased 2.5 hectares of land to the LLC for growing fodder crops for livestock, and another 17.5 hectares of land owned by his brother, who manages a farm specialized in cotton and grain production, was implicated. They colluded and illegally sold a total of 20 hectares of land to a buyer for $225,000, leading to their apprehension by the State Security Service and the Department of Combating Economic Crimes.

In an incident in Andijan city, two brothers born in 1990 and 1993, in collaboration with a former employee of the Andijan city branch of the state enterprise "Land Development and Real Estate Cadastre" and the head of an LLC providing real estate services, were involved. The official demanded $52,000 to formalize the transaction in his name through his connections. However, they were caught with physical evidence upon receiving the demanded sum in the LLC head's office.

In a swift operation conducted by employees of the Kashkadarya Regional Office of the State Security Service, in conjunction with the Economic Crimes Department and the DIA, an individual from Qamashi district, born in 1978, posed as a district cadastral department employee. Pretending to be trustworthy, he deceived a citizen from Kokdala district, promising land registration in exchange for $12,000 and 98,800,000 soums. He was apprehended upon receiving the payment.

Criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals, and investigations are ongoing.

It's worth noting that previous instances of illegal land sales were uncovered in Quva, Uchkoprik, Toshloq, and Rishton districts of Fergana region.
