A new mayor has been appointed to Marhamat district

5131Otkirbek Komiljonovich Ma'murov has been appointed as the governor of Marhamat district in the Andijan region, according to the regional government's press service.
Born in 1973 in Oltinkol district, Otkirbek Ma'murov graduated from the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after "K. Timirzayev" in 1997. Throughout his career, he has held various roles in the agricultural sector, including agronomist, manager, deputy chairman, chairman, and deputy department head.
Prior to this appointment, Ma'murov served as the governor of Buloqboshi district.
The reason for Boburjon Yoldoshev's resignation from the position of district governor of Marhamat has not been disclosed.
It's worth noting that on May 1st, Jamol Nosirov, the former mayor of Bukhara, was relieved of his duties due to health reasons. Qurbon Tursunov, who previously held the position of head of the Department of Heat Supply Operation and Development at the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy, has been appointed as the new mayor of Bukhara.
