New deputy was appointed to the mayor of Andijan

4016Ilhom Kahramonovich Sobirov has been appointed as the deputy governor of the Andijan region and head of the regional investment, industry, and trade department, according to the press service of the regional government.
Before this appointment, Sobirov served as the head of the Department of Standards, Innovations, and Grant Attraction for the "Uzcharmsanoat" association.
Born in 1974 in the Shahrikhan district of the Andijan region, Ilhom Sobirov graduated from the Tashkent Textile and Light Industry Institute in 1996. He later earned degrees from Gulistan State University in 2003 and the State and Society Construction Academy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2006. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including chief technician, specialist, chief engineer, deputy head of the department, and head of the department at Uzpakhtasanoat JSC within the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is worth noting that Sherzodjon Polvanov was recently appointed as deputy governor of the Fergana region. He replaced Sherzod Rahimov, who held the position of deputy governor for youth policy, social development, and spiritual and educational affairs since March of this year.
