Oops! The project “1hls” which pays money to pedestrians is confirmed to have been canceled

The project «Healthy Lifestyle (1hl), which gives money to pedestrians for walking has been canceled. The relevant presidential decree on this matter was adopted on 6 April of this year.

According to the document, the term of validity of the 4th paragraph of the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 30 October 2020, in the number of PF-6099 «On measures to widely introduce a healthy lifestyle and further development of mass sports» has expired.

Paragraph 4 mentioned the proposals from the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports, the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Finance on the creation of the platform "Healthy Lifestyle" (www.1hls.uz) with an intention to encourage people to walk and run daily where approved.

According to this, the following regulations were determined:

- Transfer of 3,000 soms to the e-wallet of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan aged 18 and over, who walked ten thousand or more steps a day in the territory of Uzbekistan;
- Providing 300,000 soms per month for each person who walked the most in each district (city), 500,000 soms for each pedestrian who walked the most steps in each region (oblast), 1 million soms for the citizens who take the most steps in the country to an electronic wallet of them on the platform.

It should be recalled that in January of the current year the Ministry of Sport and Tourism reported that changes on gaining daily bonuses money via 1hls.uz platform would be implemented and hereinafter 100 million sums would only be allocated for a person on the outcomes of the week among the pedestrians who walked 10,000 steps daily, also bicycle awards would be bestowed on 1000 people.
