Aliyev's man comes to Tashkent and conveys his president's greetings to Mirziyoyev

Today, February 23, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Economy, Co-Chairman of the Bilateral Intergovernmental Commission Mikayil Jabbarov, who came to Uzbekistan under the leadership of the Azerbaijani delegation to participate in the first meeting of the Joint Territorial Forum and the meeting of the Businessmen's Council. This was reported by the Press Service under the President's Administration.

The issues of implementation of agreements reached the highest level were considered in the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov conveyed to the leader of Uzbekistan the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"During the conversation, it was noted with particular satisfaction that cooperation projects are being rapidly implemented in the automotive, textile, and silk sectors. An agreement on the creation of a joint investment fund is being signed. Prospective projects are being prepared in the oil and gas network, transport, and logistics sectors," - the report said.

It was also noted that it was important to further expand the scope of practical cooperation between the two countries, including the ongoing localization program.
