At Tashkent International Airport, a passenger arriving from Delhi, India, was apprehended for attempting to smuggle in 319 vials and two types of drugs in ampoule form, along with 19 dental fillings concealed within shampoo boxes. This was reported by the specialized customs complex "Tashkent-AERO."

During the inspection of the passenger's travel bag, customs officials discovered drugs hidden in a hair wash bottle that had not been declared during customs control, nor mentioned in the oral inquiry, and lacked the necessary documentation.

The passenger attempted to conceal a total of 199 units of Eutrig and 120 units of Sodium Chloride Injection IP, as well as 19 units of dental cement (fillings) in glass containers.

The estimated value of the seized items is around 30 million soums. The customs authorities are currently conducting an investigation.

It's worth noting that earlier, a foreigner was caught trying to carry an air gun at Tashkent International Airport. Among the items confiscated were one pneumatic gun and 290 pellets intended for use with the gun, which had not been properly declared for customs control and lacked the necessary permits from the internal affairs bodies.
