14786Blogger Abror Mukhtar Ali (Abror Abduazimov) has been released. Lawyer Ganiev reported it on his Telegram channel.
It is noted that yesterday, on February 20, Abror Mukhtar Ali's complaint during the inspection procedure was considered in the Supreme Court.
According to Article 324-23 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, decisions of district (city) courts on criminal cases considered in the procedure of appeal or cassation are reviewed by the criminal trial panel of the Supreme Court.
According to online monitoring, the administrative violation case against Abror Abduazimov and Khusrav Nasrullaev was heard on February 20, 2024, at 11:11 a.m. by Judge K. Tollibaev.
"Although the decision of the inspection body of the Supreme Court in the case No. 3-1003-2404/1437 is not posted in the 'Department of Court Decisions Published on the Internet,' we believe that the 15-day administrative prison sentence imposed on Abror Abduazimov and Khusrav Nasrullaev is rather severe, and 13 or 14 days would have been more appropriate. Consequently, they were released from prison," noted the lawyer.
It is also worth mentioning that his release was confirmed through new posts on the blogger's Facebook and Instagram pages.
Let us remind you that Abror Mukhtar Ali was imprisoned for 15 days for shouting and fighting in the district administration of Sheikhontohur. During the same day's court session, Abrar Mukhtar Ali and his accomplice, who took part in the quarrel, confessed their guilt.
According to the court's decision, a fine of 340,000 soums and 15 days of administrative imprisonment were imposed on both of them. Additionally, the court exempted the defendants from the costs of their imprisonment, considering their family circumstances.
Following this, referring to the QALAMPIR.UZ source, on February 13, Abror Abduazimov's lawyer filed an appeal against the court decision, but the court rejected the lawyer's appeal.
