53992Previously, we stated that blogger Abror Mukhtar Ali was sentenced to 15 days of administrative imprisonment. The reason for his detention has now been made public by the press service of Tashkent city courts, as reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
It was revealed that on February 6 of this year, Abror Mukhtar Ali visited the district administration of Sheikhontohur for work, where he got into a heated argument with another citizen, Kh.N. Following the altercation, law enforcement officers intervened, but they failed to comply with police orders, incited the public, and spread false accusations against the law enforcement officers.
During the court session on the same day, both defendants admitted their guilt.
As per the court's ruling, both individuals were fined 340,000 soums and sentenced to 15 days of administrative imprisonment. Additionally, considering their family circumstances, the court waived the costs of their incarceration.
It's worth mentioning that in February of the previous year, the Single Court of Criminal Affairs in Tashkent imposed a fine of 20 times the Basic Calculation Value (BCV), equivalent to 6 million soums, on religious blogger Abror Mukhtar Ali, following a complaint filed by journalist Nikita Makarenko.
