Abdusattorov draws against Carlsen again

In the quarterfinals of the "Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour 2025" held in Paris, France, Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov played to a draw against Norwegian chess star Magnus Carlsen, falling short of reaching the semifinals.
Carlsen had already secured victory in the first game of the match, and the draw in the second was enough to earn him a place in the semifinal stage.
Abdusattorov will now face French grandmaster Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in the battle for fifth place in the tournament.
For reference, the prize fund of the tournament is $750,000. Should Abdusattorov defeat Vachier-Lagrave in the fifth-place match, he will be awarded a prize of $50,000.
