In the conclusive round, Nodirbek clinched a triumph against Alexander Donchenko from Germany, but his quest for the title was halted in the semi-finals by China's Wei Yi, who secured a 1.5:0.5 victory. This setback led Abdusattorov to settle for 3rd place.

The ultimate victor of the competition was Wei Yi, who triumphed in the finals against India's Gukesh Domarju. While the initial match concluded in a draw, Yi secured the upper hand in the second match, ultimately securing his championship.
