Abdulla Aripov participates in the EAEU meeting in Belarus

5263An extended session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council took place today, June 4, in Nesvizh, approximately 100 kilometers from Minsk. Uzbekistan's Prime Minister, Abdulla Aripov, attended the meeting, as reported by the Prime Minister's press secretary, Bekzod Hidoyatov.
Reports indicate that the meeting focused on expanding "Green" corridor systems, establishing joint agro-industrial clusters and logistics centers, introducing "green" and water-saving technologies, and developing unified approaches to combating climate change.
The day before, a preliminary meeting was held to review the EAEU's annual report on competition in cross-border markets. Participants discussed the development of transport infrastructure along the East-West and North-South corridors within the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and addressed China's involvement with the Belt and Road initiative.
Additionally, the meeting assessed the progress of implementing priority measures for the digitalization of freight railway transport within the EAEU and evaluated the work planned for the digitalization of transport corridors.
