Abdulaziz Kamilov is confirmed to be receiving treatment abroad for illness

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, is being treated abroad for health problems. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Yusuf Kabuljanov.

According to the representative of the Ministry, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, has been receiving treatment for chronic diseases at the Central Clinical Hospital 1 of the General Directorate of Medicine for the past 10 days.

"According to the opinion of the doctors, Kamilov’s state of health needs further examination, and currently the Minister continues treatment abroad in order to undergo specialized medical examination and receive appropriate treatment,"-Kabuljanov said.

For reference, Abdulaziz Kamilov was born in 1947 making him currently 74 years old. He has held the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2012.
