Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov, currently playing for French club Lens, may extend his stay at the club for another season, according to QALAMPIR.UZ.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a vital player for Lens, prompting the club to set a high transfer fee for potential suitors. Lens reportedly aims to secure up to €50 million for Husanov’s transfer, a figure that may hinder the defender’s move to another team.

Despite interest from clubs in England, Spain, Turkey, and other major leagues, Khusanov's future remains uncertain due to Lens' valuation.

So far this season, Khusanov has made 16 appearances for Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, providing one assist. His current contract with the French club runs until the summer of 2027.

Previously, reports suggested that Turkish club Fenerbahçe expressed interest in signing the talented Uzbek defender.
