Abbosbek Fayzullayev transfers from CSKA to Istanbul’s Basaksehir

Uzbek national team member and CSKA Moscow midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullayev has officially joined Istanbul-based club Basaksehir. The transfer was reported by Sport-Express.
According to the report, the transfer fee for Fayzullayev was set at €7.5 million. CSKA received the full payment for the 21-year-old player as a one-time transaction from the Turkish club.
CSKA is set to face Orenburg today, July 21, in the Russian Premier League. Fayzullayev was not included in the squad for this match.
The duration of Fayzullayev’s contract with Basaksehir has not yet been disclosed.
For reference, Fayzullayev’s contract with CSKA was due to expire in the summer of next year. This season, the 21-year-old appeared in 39 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
It was previously reported that another Uzbek player, 29-year-old striker Eldor Shomurodov, moved from Italian club Roma to Basaksehir. The Istanbul club signed Shomurodov on loan until the end of the 2025–2026 season, with an option to purchase.
