2637The undisputed world champion in the bantamweight division, Naoya Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs), has signed a high-profile sponsorship contract with Riyadh Season, a company chaired by Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Entertainment Affairs.
The collaboration deal is reportedly worth $19.7 million.
Inoue’s next bout is scheduled for December 24 at Tokyo's Ariake Arena, where he will face Australian Sam Goodman.
In his most recent match, Inoue defeated TJ Doheny, a seasoned contender in the WBA rankings and a former IBF world champion. Doheny conceded in the seventh round via TKO after sustaining a back injury.
Following his fight with Goodman, Inoue is anticipated to meet former WBA and IBF belt holder Murodjon Ahmadaliyev from Uzbekistan, provided both fighters secure wins in their respective matches. For Ahmadaliyev, this means overcoming his next opponent, 27-year-old Mexican Ricardo Espinosa Franco, before setting sights on a potential clash with Inoue.
