Uzbek professional boxer and former WBA and IBF titleholder Murodjon Ahmadaliyev may face four-weight world champion Naoya Inoue of Japan in December. Ahmadaliyev himself confirmed this to QALAMPIR.UZ.
"Inoue has decided to fight TJ Doheny. I think I'll have one more fight before facing Inoue. I might step into the ring against Naoya in December, but nothing is certain yet," said Ahmadaliyev.
For your information, 29-year-old Murodjon Ahmadaliyev has fought 13 professional bouts so far, winning 12 of them. He lost one fight, which cost him his WBA and IBF titles. He has knocked out his opponents in 9 of his victories.
Previously, it was reported that weight champion Naoya Inoue would fight Australian TJ Doheny. The bout is scheduled to take place in Tokyo in September.
