The promoter of Uzbek professional boxer Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Eddie Hearn, has expressed strong confidence in his fighter's ability to defeat Japan's undisputed world champion, Naoya Inoue. Hearn made these remarks during an interview with Matchroom Boxing, highlighting the potential of an epic clash between the two boxing stars.

"This fight has been registered twice by the WBA. The first time, they paid money to bypass Murodjon. The second time, the order to hold the fight was also managed by Inoue's team. Akhmadaliev will defeat Naoya Inoue. Murodjon has enough skill for this. Some say, 'No, Naoya is not afraid of anyone.' Inoue may not be afraid, but his team is afraid of us because everyone in boxing knows how strong Akhmadaliev is. Let the best fight the best. This is the only fight in the division. This will be one of the best fights in the history of the sport," said Hearn.

Eddie Hearn further underlined his belief in Akhmadaliev's capabilities by making a bold statement.

"I'd bet my house on Murodjon beating Naoya. After the fight with Goodman, Naoya should either give up the belt or fight. I'm sure they won't come out to fight. If they do, don't call him the best pound-for-pound fighter because this guy will beat him," Hearn declared with conviction.

The potential showdown between Akhmadaliev and Inoue is one of the most anticipated matchups in the world of boxing. Fans and analysts alike are eager to see if Hearn’s confidence in Akhmadaliyev’s skills will be justified.

For context, the World Boxing Association (WBA) previously ordered Inoue to face Akhmadaliev after his bout with Australian fighter Sam Goodman.
