It is revealed that an excess number of pensions and allowances worth 5.7 billion soms have been allocated in 6 months

Over the past six months, the Pension Fund’s system has revealed financial errors and excess pension payments in the amount of 5 billion 718.3 million soms in 3,292 cases.  This was announced at a briefing at the Information and Mass Communications Agency by the Head of the Internal Audit and Financial Control Department of the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund Dilshod Mirsaidov.

Errors were identified in the following areas:

- 3 billion 510.3 million soms in 2,194 cases as a result of the erroneous formation of data for allocation of child benefits and material assistance to low-income families through the information system ‘Single Register of Social Protection”;

- 2 billion 179.7 million soms in 913 cases as a result of the misallocation and calculation of state pensions and benefits;

- 28.2 million soms in 185 cases as a result of violations of budget and budget discipline in accounting in the regions.

All the reported violations were referred to law enforcement agencies for legal evaluation.
