48-year-old Oksana Chusovitina wins another gold medal

Uzbek gymnast Oksana Chusovitina clinched the gold medal in the World Challenge Cup series competition held in Mersin, Turkey. This achievement was confirmed by the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

It was reported that on September 3rd, Oksana Chusovitina, representing Uzbekistan, scored 13.067 points, surpassing local athletes Bengisi Yildiz (12.950) and Choren Biner (12.950) to secure the gold medal.

Additionally, on the same day, Uzbek athlete Abdulaziz Mirvaliyev secured the silver medal in the men's pole vault program with a score of 14.475 points. The first and third places were claimed by Ukrainians Nazar Chepurniy (14.900) and Igor Radivilov (14.450), respectively.
