There were interruptions in the electricity supply in 3 regions

Power supply interruptions were observed in some areas of Navoi, Jizzakh and Andijan regions.  This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

Due to the strong wind experienced in the Navoi and Jizzakh regions, malfunctions occurred in the electrical networks.  Due to this, power supply interruptions are observed in some areas of Forish, Zafarabad and Sharaf Rashidov districts of Jizzakh region, Nurota, Tomdi and Uchquduk districts of Navoi region.

Also, a failure occurred in the high-voltage power transmission network that supplies Marhamat, Buloqboshi and Asaka districts of Andijan region with electricity.

As a result, emergency interruptions in electricity supply were observed in some areas of these districts.

“Currently, special brigades are taking measures to eliminate malfunctions, and the electricity supply of these areas will be fully restored soon.  “We apologize to consumers for the inconvenience,” the ministry said.
