Historical monuments were destroyed for toilet construction in three regions

Inspections conducted by the prosecutor's office have revealed the partial destruction of historical monuments in several regions, according to the General Prosecutor's Office.

  • Kashkadarya: 

  - "Kofirtepa-2" (7th - 13th century): 2.4 m³
  - "Beshteraktepa" (9th - 12th century): 6 m³
  - "Khontepa" (11th - 13th century): 189 m³ for residential buildings

  • Jizzakh: 

  - "Tomoshotepa-2" (4th - 5th century): 14 m³ for a toilet
  - "Qoratepa" (5th - 6th century): 30 m³ for a greenhouse

  • Sirdarya: 

  - "Hashartepa" (9th - 12th century): 6.4 m³ for a toilet and bathhouse

  • Navoiy: 

  - "Gazgontepa": 16 m³ for a mobile company antenna
  - "Nonvoylartepa-2": 5.3 m³
  - "Kaltepa" (5th - 8th century): 23 m³
  - "Yasiltepa" (3rd - 11th century): 20 m³ for farm buildings

  • Tashkent Region: 

  - "Nomsiztepa-1": 15 m³ for a toilet
  - "Nomsiztepa-2": 1.92 m³ for a greenhouse

The damage caused to these 12 monuments amounts to 8.3 billion soums.

Previously, in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region, a 5th-7th century monument was demolished to build a barn. In Tashkent city, a toilet was arbitrarily constructed inside a 16th-century architectural monument.
