4020In the Kashkadarya region, two cotton textile clusters have been identified as having accumulated over 3 billion soums in unjustified income. This was reported by the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights.
The Competition Committee monitors the placement of products by clusters that exhibit high-level sales and/or monopolistic production through stock trading and artificial price control. Daily and monthly observations are conducted to ensure compliance.
In the Kashkadarya region, based on effective investigations, the organizational activities of "Chirakchi-Cluster" LLC and "Kitob Ip Yigiruv" JSC have been analyzed. Findings include:
- A total of 1,310 tons of products were sold on stock exchanges without direct production.
- Products were placed on the stock exchange in volumes that were either non-existent or minimal within the retention periods specified in the tables.
- Product listings were posted on the official website of the exchange during the planning period.
- Actions were initiated that may have led to restrictions or limitations in stock trading.
As a result, an unjustified income of 3.2 billion soums was identified.
"According to the Law of Uzbekistan "On Competition," the Cabinet of Ministers, through decision No. 170 dated March 18, 2020, has passed regulations for determining damages and evaluating funds obtained from production processes," the report states.
Previously, unjustified debt exceeding 4 billion 173 million soums, considered unspecified by the state administration for the "Heat Source" of the Fergana region, was annulled.
