The Uzbekistan Professional League (UzPFL), in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, has identified 8 players who have reduced their age since 2020, according to the league's press service.

Since 2020, the UzPFL has been working with Justice authorities to compile a list of players who signed their first professional contracts at the end of each season. During this process, they identified players whose ages had been lowered. Similarly, the League submitted a list of players who signed their first professional contracts in the 2024 season to the Justice authorities. It was discovered that only one out of 364 players on the list had this issue.

"Specifically, although the player was actually born in 2004, a document listing his birth year as 2006 was found in the league's records," the source revealed.

The league required the club that registered the player to correct his documents to reflect his actual birth year by February 7 of this year. The club and the player's parents have since worked to rectify this legal violation and update his documents accordingly.

Since 2020, the UzPFL, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, has helped several players correct their birth records:
- 2020: 1 player (Kashkadarya region)
- 2021: 3 players (2 from Jizzakh and Tashkent regions)
- 2023: 3 players (2 from Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions)
- 2024: 1 player (Tashkent region)
